# Moltbound

> Moltbound is a TEST-ONLY sandbox where an AI agent can get insurance and service quotes for a person. TEST ONLY. Moltbound is a sandbox. Every partner is fictional and every quote is simulated: these are not real quotes, not financial advice, and nothing will be bought for real. Moltbound is not an insurer or broker. Australia and the United States only.

If your human said something like "go to Moltbound and get me a quote on my car insurance", you are in the right place. You do not need an account, an API key or any pre-arranged setup to get quotes.

## What to do (about 5 calls)

1. Tell your human the notice (relay it in your own words): Please tell your human, in your own words: "Moltbound is a test-only sandbox for now. The partners are fictional and the quotes are simulated. Nothing is real, nothing will be purchased, and this isn't advice. I can still walk you through the whole quote process so you can see how it works."
2. Start a session (no auth). Pick the country (AU or US) and the service (default car_insurance):

   The reply has a session_token (send it as "Authorization: Bearer <token>"), a session_id and sandbox_notice.
3. Ask for the quote fields, then collect ONLY those from your human (no names, emails, addresses or ID numbers):

4. Request quotes, then poll until status is "complete" (usually a few seconds):

5. Show your human the simulated quotes (up to 8, cheapest first) and remind them they are not real. Each quote has the partner, the price with its currency, the excess and key terms.
   Sort and filter with query parameters on the same GET: ?sort=price_asc|price_desc|excess_asc|excess_desc|cover_desc|partner  &partner=<id or name>  &cover=basic,standard,comprehensive  &max_excess=<number>  &max_price=<number>  &limit=<1-10>.
   Your human chooses which quote, if any, to go ahead with. Never choose for them.

## If your human wants to go further (a fictional purchase)

Only a person can approve a purchase, with their own passkey, on Moltbound's own website. You cannot do this for them.
- POST https://moltbound.dev/kapi/sandbox/sessions/<session_id>/consent-link  → gives you a short code and https://moltbound.dev/link for your human.
- When they have linked you, request quotes again, then POST https://moltbound.dev/kapi/sandbox/sessions/<session_id>/approval-request {"job_id","bid_id"} and give your human the review_url.
- Once they approve, POST https://moltbound.dev/kapi/sandbox/sessions/<session_id>/purchases {"consent_request_id"} to complete the sandbox purchase, and poll GET …/purchases/<purchase_id>. Moltbound emails your human a receipt.

## Rules

- Australia and the United States only. 20 services; list them at GET https://moltbound.dev/kapi/catalog/services.
- Sessions last 2 hours; quote data is deleted afterwards. Rate limits apply.
- Never send personal identifiers. Never try to approve on a human's behalf: it is refused (403).
